The test equipment simulates the damage caused by solar ultraviolet light, and tests the weather resistance of the tested material by exposing it to light under controlled high temperature.It uses ultraviolet lamps to simulate the radiation of sunlight, and simulates dew and rain through condensation and water spray over a period of days or weeks,UV irradiation equipment can cause damage that would take months or even years to occur outdoors,These include fading, color change, tarnishing, powdering, cracking, cracking, wrinkling, foaming, embrittlement, strength reduction, oxidation and so on,Its test results can be used to select new materials, improve existing materials, or evaluate material formulation changes.

3,Introducting the Function Blocks
1,Irradiation system (simulating sunlight):
2,Light source: 8 imported ultraviolet fluorescent lamps with rated power of 40W (American ATLAS), with UVA-340 light source
3,Irradiance control system:
3.1.The change of light intensity will affect the aging rate of materials, while the difference of spectrum may affect both the aging rate and the aging type of materials.Only by controlling the irradiance of the current system can accurate and repeatable test results be obtained.
3.2.The built-in voltage system is a precise closed-loop control system that automatically maintains the set light intensity through a feedback loop.The controller continuously monitors UV light intensity and adjusts the lamp output to compensate for changes in light intensity caused by aging of the lamp or any other element.The reproducibility and repeatability of the test results of the control system are better than that of artificial irradiance control, and can effectively prolong the life of the lamp tube.
3.3.In the UV cycle, irradiance outputs a signal through the controller, which adjusts the
intensity of a set of (two) lamps through a voltage and transmits the data to the controller.The controller compares the irradiance measurement to the set value, and then instructs the power system to adjust the lamp output to maintain the light intensity set value.
4,UV cycle temperature control:
4.1.The components of the UV circulation system include a blower, air heater, air distribution system, and blackboard temperature sensor.
4.2.Blower: installed in the lower box of the equipment air channel, in the whole UV cycle, the blower is continuous work.
4.3.Air heater: installed in the air duct above the blower, used to heat the air blown out by the blower when needed.
4.4.Air distribution system: the air blown by the blower enters the laboratory through the air pipe in the center of the water tray, and then fills the whole laboratory by the air guide.
5,Condensation system (simulated dew):
5.1.In essence, the QUV condensing system is that the evaporated water vapor is restricted in the experimental chamber by the sample of the experimental chamber. The air on the back of the sample makes the temperature of the sample water vapor lower, and this temperature difference makes the water vapor condensed on the sample.During the condensation cycle, the water is heated by the heating element under the water tray, and the water vapor fills the chamber, reaching an equilibrium at 100% humidity. The water vapor condenses continuously on the samples, while they are kept cool by the room air behind them.Steam is condensed on the sample and finally flows back to the water tray.
