1. Technical description
1.1 Equipment composition
The main components of the XT-TX630-12 series laser tube cutting machine are: machine tool host, intelligent feeding system, automatic unloading device, control system, low-voltage electrical system, laser, chiller, etc.
1.2 Machine tool host part
The bed host part is the main component of the entire laser tube cutting machine. The cutting function and cutting accuracy of the laser tube cutting machine are realized by the host part. The host part consists of the intelligent feeding system bed, chuck, X/Z axis device, auxiliary system (protective cover, air circuit and water circuit), operation screen and other parts.
1.3 Intelligent loading and unloading system
The loading side is designed with 5 sets of intelligent loading systems and unloading inclined support unloading devices.
1.4 Electrical control part
The electrical control system of the laser tube cutting machine is an important part to ensure the running trajectory of various graphics. Generally, the electrical control system is mainly composed of CNC system and low-voltage electrical system. The CNC system of this machine tool is equipped with the Bochu high-performance bus-type 5000A CNC system. The system is based on the Windows operating platform, runs stably and reliably, contains a 64-bit microprocessor, and can be used with nesting software.
1.5 Low-voltage electrical system
The low-voltage electrical system is located in the electric control cabinet and is the interface part of the electrical control of the whole machine. Various original components of the electrical system are products produced by well-known domestic and foreign manufacturers to ensure that the whole machine is stable and reliable during operation and has sensitive response. The drive motor is an AC servo motor, which is used to drive the X-axis, Y-axis, and AW (synchronous rotation) axis of the machine tool. It has good acceleration performance and fast response speed. The Z-axis of the machine tool is the feed axis, and an AC servo motor (with brake) is used to drive: that is, the Z-axis cutting head, which has good dynamic response characteristics and can be both follow-up control and NC control.
2. Main components and working principle
2.1 Pipe cutting bed
The company independently developed and processed the whole machine, using the principle of structural dynamic design. It is made of high-quality plate and pipe composite welding. It is divided into 4 sections and connected by high-strength bolts and fixed plates to ensure the geometric accuracy after connection. After welding, it is annealed to eliminate internal stress, and after rough machining, it is subjected to vibration aging and then fine machining, which greatly improves the rigidity and stability of the machine tool. The bed has a high natural frequency and good shock absorption performance, which effectively reduces vibration under high-speed operation; ensuring the operating accuracy and service life of the machine. 2.2 Crossbeam
The L-type crossbeam, X-axis crossbeam and side columns adopt a gantry structure and are welded as a whole with high-quality carbon steel plates. After annealing to eliminate internal stress, they are subjected to vibration aging after rough machining and then fine machining to ensure the rigidity and stability of the moving components of the laser head. The crossbeam is fixed on the bed and equipped with high-quality linear guides, driven by servo motors, and driven by high-quality gear racks to enable the Z-axis slide plate to achieve reciprocating motion in the X direction. During the movement, the limit switch controls the stroke to limit the position, and there are elastic buffer pads at both ends to mechanically limit the position to ensure the safety of the system operation. The Z-axis device mainly realizes the up and down movement of the laser head. The up and down movement of the laser head is completed by the CNC system controlling the servo motor, the motor driving the gear rack, and driving the Z-axis slide plate to reciprocate up and down. Both the upper and lower ends use proximity switches to control the stroke to ensure the safety and reliability of the movement. The guide rails, gear racks and pinions are all made of high-quality products to ensure the accuracy of the transmission.
The Z axis can be used as a CNC axis to perform its own interpolation movement, and can be linked with the X and Y axes at the same time, and can be switched to follow-up control to meet the needs of different situations. Since the Z axis follow-up is also controlled by the CNC system, the follow-up has high precision and good stability, thus ensuring the quality of cutting. After the capacitive sensor in the Z axis device detects the distance from the nozzle to the surface of the plate, it feeds back the signal to the control system, and then the control system controls the Z axis motor to drive the cutting head up and down, thereby controlling the distance between the nozzle and the plate to be constant, effectively ensuring the cutting quality. The cutting head can automatically adjust the focal length and adjust the position of the focus according to the material and thickness of the cutting material, thereby obtaining a good cutting section. 2.3 Chuck
The chuck is equipped with a precision pneumatic chuck, which adopts a well-known domestic brand. The rear chuck is designed with an infrared sensor to detect the position of the tail end of the pipe, so as to realize the automatic clamping of the pipe by the rear chuck. The clamping force can be adjusted to complete the automatic feeding process;
The sensor transmits the signal to the CNC system, and the system controls the rear chuck to accurately send the pipe to the pre-cutting position. According to the customer's process requirements, the flat head or uneven head processing of the pipe can be realized;

2.4. Front bed servo follower
The front bed servo follower support system independently developed by Xintian Laser has a material support function. It is driven by a servo motor and can achieve smooth cutting of heavy pipes of different lengths, sizes and shapes. It can also adjust the height in real time according to the height of the pipe when it rotates, so as to achieve perfect support during the cutting process. The support has strong load-bearing capacity, and the overall 12-meter loading can meet the maximum weight of the pipe up to 1500KG.
2.5. Automatic loading and unloading
The loading side consists of 5 groups of intelligent loading systems that intelligently pick up materials from the material rack and transport them to the bottom of the chuck, and then lift the pipe to a suitable height for the chuck to clamp. Each group of unloading side material receiving also has a side flipping function, which is realized by the solenoid valve controlling the cylinder. The workpiece can be flipped onto the receiving rack after cutting, and the workpiece slides out laterally along the unloading rack. During the processing, for different pipes, the unloading side receiving device, the system will control the follow-up receiving device to adjust the receiving height of the receiving assembly in real time according to the changes in the outer contour of the pipe to ensure that the receiving plate stably supports the pipe. When the chuck moves to the corresponding position, the follow-up material receiving device will automatically drop and flip to avoid it. 2.6. Material receiving device
The front material receiving pallet on the material receiving side will drop down and flip after receiving the workpiece, and tilt the workpiece to the material receiving rack. The material receiving rack is designed to have a certain inclination angle according to the customer's on-site conditions. The workpiece can flip sideways and slide out of the main machine along the slope to achieve material unloading, and the long and short materials are divided into different sections (the length of the pipes does not overlap).
2.7. Control system
The FSCUT5000 series is a bus cutting system specially launched for special pipe cutting machines. Among them, the FSCUT5000A system is suitable for three-chuck special pipe cutting machines, and is equipped with the pipe nesting software TubesT to achieve common edge cutting, which saves more time and materials.
2.7.1 The Bochu 5000A system is a PC CNC system based on WINDOWS, a real-time system based on bus control, with integrated follow-up control and three-chuck pulling and cutting functions. It can compensate for the center deviation of the pipe in real time, and the corner cutting speed is faster and more stable. The display operation unit provides a good human-machine interface, a color LCD screen that can display various operation information, and an operation panel with function keys for machine tool operation. It has analog graphic display and dynamic graphic tracking display functions, making the processing more intuitive and easy to monitor and control.
2.7.2 With the tube nesting software TubesT, it can read IGS format files exported by Solidworks, UG, and Pro/E, and can realize automatic sorting, common edge cutting, square tube welding compensation, part drawing, nesting report, real-time centering, profile processing and other functions. Support one-key calibration of square tube level, support segmented perforation, progressive perforation, and pre-perforation functions. Support breakpoint memory, breakpoint forward and backward tracing, and allow partial graphics processing and other functions.
2.7.3 According to the speed and power parameters set by the operator, the laser power can be accurately adjusted to ensure that the machine tool can still obtain the corresponding optimal laser cutting power under different speed conditions during acceleration and deceleration.
2.7.4 In order to solve the problem of laser focus fluctuation caused by uneven pipe surface, which affects the cutting quality, the cutting head (Z axis) must follow to keep the focus constant. In addition to the follow-up function, the Z axis of this cutting machine also has the same display and control functions as the X and Y axes.
2.7.5 The CNC system of this machine has self-check alarm and automatic protection functions, and also has alarm display and automatic protection for external conditions.
2.8, Laser

2.10 Dust removal design and working process
2.10.1 The air inlet of the dust removal host is connected to the dust extraction port reserved by the pipe cutting machine through a hose. When the metal pipe is cut through, the smoke goes down and is directly sucked into the dust removal host through the air inlet at the lower side. It is sucked immediately after cutting, so as to achieve the effect of timely cleaning of cutting smoke.
