Digital Display Torque Meter Operating Manual

1  Introduction

Digital display torque meter is a torque monitoring instrument matched with ratchet wrench, which is used for various fastening and disassembly control forces. It has the functionalcharacteristics of simple   operation, portable carrying, multi-unit conversion, sound indication, forward and reverse adjustment, etc. It is widely used in automobile, bicycle, various mechanical maintenance industries, ete.

2  Functional characteristics

2.1  Error: 2% clockwise and 2.5% counterclockwise. It can be used in forward and reverse directions to improve work efficiency
2.2  Four torque units: kgf.cm, N.m, Ibf.ft, Ibf.in.
2.3  Acousto-optic alarm: effectively provide the accuracy and safety of operation.
2.4  Backlight function: It is convenient to read data clearly at night or when luminosity is insufficient.
2.5  Dual mode operation: real-time mode and peak mode.
2.6  Power supply: 2 AAA dry batteries.
2.7  Automatic shutdown: Automatic shutdown without operation for 2 minutes to avoid excessive power consumption.

Maintenance and Storage

6.1 Note: In order to maintain good accuracy, recalibration is recommended approximately every year.
6.2 Exceeding the torque may cause damage orlpss of accuracy(105% over the maximumtorque range).
6.3 Do not shake the torque meter violently or drop it to the ground.
6.4 Do not place the torque meter in high temperature,high humidity or direct sunlight.
6.5 If you accidentally wet the torque gauge, dry it immediately with a dry towel.
6.6 Do not press the LCD screen.
